Sailboats are available either bareboat (sailing license required) or with skipper, in various configurations:

Sailboats with 2 cabins:

Sailboats with 3 cabins:
A three cabin sailboat has 6 berths in three cabins, and some boats have a transformable table in the saloon that lowers into a bed and allows for 2 more berths (hence 6+2 berths). Sailboats with 4 cabins:
A four cabin sailboat has 8 berths in four cabins, and some boats have a transformable table in the saloon that lowers into a bed and allows for 2 more berths (hence 8+2 berths). The cabins are divided either as 3 cabins with matrimonial beds plus a cabin with bunk beds (for example the Delphia 40), or as 2 cabins with matrimonial beds at the stern, and 2 cabins with beds slightly smaller than matrimonial at the bow (for example the Sun Odyssey 45). Sailboats with 5 cabins:
Sailboats with more than 4 cabins are divided in 3 categories 1) 4+1 cabins (for example the Cyclades 50.4) with 8 berths in 4 double cabins plus a berth for the crew in a cabin at the bow with private entrance; 2) 5 cabins (for example the Bavaria 49) with 10 berths in 3 double cabins and 2 cabins with bunk beds; or 3) 5+1 cabins (for example the Cyclades 50.5) with 10 berths in 4 double cabins and 1 cabin with bunk beds plus a berth for the crew in a cabin at the bow with private entrance. Several boats also have the salon table that lowers into a bed for another two berths. The newest boats for 2011 are two Oceanis 54 based at Palermo and Portorosa.
