Filicudi is best toured by boat charter, as it has spectacular offshore islands, good snorkeling and diving, and clear waters.

Filicudi is famous for its archeological sites.  Filicudi and Alicudi are much less developed for tourism and appear more agrarian.  A small port is located at Filicudi.  Within walking distance are a few stores and restaurants.  Several restaurants are located up on the hillside and offer complimentary rides to and from the port.  A beautiful grotto and several small islands are visible only by boat.**
