you are in : Salina
Salina is known as the "greenest" of the Aeolian Islands and is the cite of the famous Italian film: "Il Positano" (The Postman).
Salina is the second largest island of the archipelago after Lipari. Salina has two predominant mountain peaks that are green with vegetation. St. Marina in Salina offers a large, secure port. Within walking distance from the port are numerous stores and restaurants. In St. Marina we recommend the restaurant of Mamma Santina, which offers traditional Sicilian cuisine and fresh seafood. Rinella and Malfa in Salina both have small docks. It is possible to anchor offshore of the city of Lingua and enjoy Sicilian Granita at the bar da Alfredo within site of your yacht. The family owned and opperated bar da Alfredo has been serving Granita since 1971, with flavors such as watermellon, peach, pistacchio, almond, coffe, lemon, fig, mellon, strawberry, berry, and chocolate. Salina is also famous for the production of capers (capperi) and Malvasia wines are produced in the vineyards of Salina.**
