Filicudi boat charter, snorkeling, and diving in Sicily
The island of Filicudi lies 10 nautical miles east of Alicudi and 10 nm west of Salina. It is just 29 nm to the north of the Sicilian town of Sant'Agata di Militello and 36 nm to the northwest of Portorosa.

Filicudi is geologically the oldest of the archipelago. It is famous for its archeological sites including ruins, millstone production site, and numerous terraces at Capo Graziano. Filicudi and Alicudi are much less developed for tourism and appear more agrarian. A small port is located at Filicudi. Within walking distance are a few stores and restaurants. Several restaurants are located up on the hillside and offer complimentary rides to and from the port.

To NOT miss: restaurants on the hillside with spectacular views, boat tour of the island to visit the grotto del gambero, the Grotto of the Shrimp, located east of Filicudi Porto. Near the Grotto is an ancient millstone production site, which is visible from offshore. Along the Northwest coast there are several beautiful rock formations, which are also very dangerous for boaters. La Canna is the tallest of the rock formations. Anchor between the Canna and the dangerous scoglio di Montenassari. The swimming and diving are spectacular, with beautiful underwater rock formations and numerous fish. Also found on the Northwest coast is a large Grotto da Bue Marino and a sea Arch. Row the dinghy into the Grotto. Another beautiful beach is located on the South coast between Filo de Lorani and le Punte. The coastline above the beach is covered with ancient terraces.
